Q.

Retainers both permanent and removable?

Kindly advise if it is normal to have both a fixed and removable retainer once the braces come off.
seems to me like my orthodonist is trying to make some extra cash when it really isn''t necesary.
please advise.

the type of retainer can only be determined by the treating practitioner. IT depends on many factors
