Q.

Receding gums

Hi Doc

The food I chew are pushing my gums down. Please advise as I am eating small portions at at time but my back gums are pushing down.

I''ve been to my dentist and he just cleaned my teeth and filled two gaps. But my concern is that my back teeth will start to rot at the root if this problem is not solved

Thanks

food cannot push your gums down if they are healthy- you may have periodontal disease- did the dentist take x-rays?
