Q.

plica fimbriata

HI Doc,

I have plica fimbriata under my tongue.
Do you know what causes it?
What can I do to get rid of it, other then surgery?
Where can I maybe get more information on it?

Thanks

L

it is a normal part of development when the membrane has not resorbed. not necessary to have it removed.
