HI, JUST SOME FEEDBACK ON MY POST OF 25/3/11. HAPPY TO SAY, IT WAS NOT PERIODONTITIS..........I''VE BEEN BRUSHING TO HARD VERTICALLY AND THEREFORE ACTUALLY BRUSHED AWAY SOME ENAMEL. THE DENTIST FILLED THAT PART AND I''M OKAY NOW. BRUSH WITH A SOFTER TOOTHBRUSH IN CIRCLES!!!!!!!! VERY IMPORTANT.

My dentist send me to a periodontist. He gave me a quotation of R15 000 to treat / " fix"  the problem!! Unfortunately he''s the only Periodontist in this province. Is that a feasible quotation?

I had that too! You need to see a dentist asap who would refer you to a specialist. It can be treated. You might lose all your teeth if you ignore it. Good luck!
