PAINFULL GUMS

I' m 36 weeks pregnant and my gums are so sensitive and painful for the past two weeks. I cant bite or chew. Is there a reason and solution for this unbearable pain?

I find that i grit my teeth against each other to the point that it becomes painful,what is the reason for this?Is there any help?
