Q.

Pain after root canal

2 years ago I had root canal done, it had to be redone on the same tooth last week Thursday. On Saturday, I started to feel pain, not in the tooth, but very deep in the gum / jaw line. I''ve been told this is normal but just want to make sure. I''m taking painkillers but as soon as they wear off then the pain is really bad.

is the root canal treatment complete? If so it should settle by tomorrow-if not, return to your dentist.
