Q.

Pain 2 months after extraction

Good day

I extracted my tooth almost two and a half months ago. I' ve had some pain, on and off, after the extraction but not like this!
On Wednesday, the gap (area where the tooth used to be) started paining again but this time it felt like real toothache!

What can the problem be? I' ve checked the teeth around the gap and they' re quite fine, so I' m almost sure that it' s not transferred pain or an infected tooth, etc...

also, the hole hasnt closed completely yet - does it normally take this long?

Thanks so much!

Warm regards
Dani

You may have a piece of root which still remains in the socket.
You will need an x-ray to deterimine if this is the case.
It should not take this long to heal
