Q.

Over bite

I have been told by numerous dentists and a maxillo surgeon that I have a severe overbite - when I bite, my bottom teeth are covered by the top. I do sleep with a mouth piece because of grinding and a click in my jaw. I would like to know if an overbite can be corrected with surgery instead of braces?

surgery on its own won't correct the overbite
