Q.

No bottom teeth

HI Doc,

My son is 20 months old. His first tooth, upper lateral incisor erupted at 16 month...FINALLY! He now has 6 teeth all on the upper jaw. There are no sign of his bottom teeth cutting.

What should I do? II''m afraid of taking him to the dentist as I''ve heard of the possibilty of slitting gums.

Please advise.

the dentist won't simply "slit" the gums- first go for a consult to see if any intervention IF ANY is needed. In most cases nothing needs to be done at this stage
