Q.

Nerves on end

Hi Doc
I had terrible toothache about 2 months ago and when i went to my dentist, he said some nerves were exposed at the base of my tooth as my gum had moved down a little. He painted on some desensitizing ' stuff'  and my tooth was fine. It did start up again the other day and i wanted to hit the roof. What can i try until i can get an appointment? Myprodol and a blob of sensodyne toothpaste on the tooth doesn t seem to help. Thank you!

if myprodol is not helping then you need to see your dentist tomorrow. They should accommodate emergencies.
It is not advisable to continue painkillers without the advice of a health practitioner.
