Q.

Missing tooth

Doc, my son is 9.5y old. He recently went to a dentist for a check up and had his first cavity. The dentist said his one permanent tooth (no 22?) has not erupted yet and he took an xray. He said it was stuck in his skeleton and he would need to see an othrodontist. Can we wait a while to see if it comes out by itself or do we have to intervene now already.

it is better to have it seen to by an orthodontist now
