Q.

Loose Teeth - URGENT

Okay, I' m a 14 (almost 15) year old guy, and my teeth seems to be loose a lot of the time. Just now I noticed a rather large gap in my 2 front teeth on my lower jaw.

What the heck is this? I can literally fit my fingernail into the gap. Is this normal for someone my age and should I be worrying about it? According to my dad, my jaws are " just growing" .

Sometimes I get chips in my teeth, I think I might be grinding my teeth in my sleep. My parents can only take me to the dentist next year. Should I worry?

it sounds as though you may have periodontal disease. It does occur in people of your age. This is an important condition and SHOULD NOT be ignored. Early treatment will prevent loss of teeth at a later stage.
