Q.

Is my dry socket back?

I had my wisdom teeth out 10 days ago, and and everything seemed fine except really bad pain where my bottom right tooth was removed. Went to doctor on friday, and it turned out I had a dry socket, which he packed. I felt huge relief. He removed the pack today, Monday, and they had a hard time finding it, so I was a little sore all day but felt ok. When brushing and rinsing tonight there was some blood. It''s been hurting much worse since I brushed and rinsed. How do I know if the dry socket is back?

Dry socket is usually associated with a bad odour and pain.

Hi when I had mine removed I also got dry sockets.
I went back for multiple dressings over a period of 2 weeks every 2nd or 3rd day. I also used pain killers for s month. Then suddenly one day the pain was gone. I think give it a little time and use ibprofin.
