Q.

Implants

I lost my front tooth when i was 7. The dentist tried to save it - I went for root treatment for 3 years and then lost my tooth at the end of the day. I have been wearing dentures since then. I went to see a specialist about implants, and he said i have just enough bone to get one. I am afraid to go ahead with it though - my mom had 2 done a year ago and is now suffering with achind, bleeding gums. I find the dentures quite comfortable, but the doc told me that dentures get in the way of " teeth getting cleaned by saliva"  and also that mine is causing irritation to my pallet. I also don' t want to risk loosing 2 more teeth to get a crown. What should i do/consider?

I would definitely go for the implants if I had a choice. If your dentist is confident of a good result - do the implant
