Q.

Impacted Wisdom

Hi

I am going in for surgery to remove my wisdom teeth, one of my wisdom is impacted and an inch away from the nerve. My concern is - What are the possible effects if the nerve is damaged during extraction of the wisdom.

only your surgeon ,after seeing the xrays, can give a reasonable indication as to the possibilites of nerve damage.
Without seeing the radiograph there is no way of knowing-sorry
