gums bleeging

hi doc
Im 24 weeks pregnant.My gums bleed when i brush my teeth.I have also noticed that i have big gaps between my pre molars, which i didnt have before i often have to use a toothpick to clean the food out of my teeth. Is it the pregnancy hormones?
