Gums

Hi there doc,

i am really worried about my gums. I am not sure, but i think i might have gingivitis? But my gums against my two bottom incissors, however one spells that. They sagging. And food gets in there after a few months and makes my gums pain terribly. I am petrified that my teeth with have to be removed. My father has gingivitis and his teeth are loose in the front. I' m only 24 and therefore this worries me. I want to know that i can do to take the best care of them. I brush twice a day. I floss my teeth once a day. And i use an electric toothbrush. However. Every six months without fail the gums start paining and it' s off to the dentist. Any advice doc? Any light you can shed please? And why is this happening to my teeth at such a young age?

you have to see the dentist and have x-rays taken- this will determine if th gum disease has progressed.
certain forms of periodontal disease occur in young people as well so early treatment is essential.
