Gum problems

hi

my gums are red and get very swollen after i' ve eaten meat. i can actually put my fingernail inbetween my teeth and gums. i brush me teeth as i' m supposed to, aswell as use mouthwash everytime i' m done.

my gums tend to bleed if i just touch them lightly with my tootbrush or toothpick, or whatever. they hurt every now and again. and sometimes i get little sores (looks like feverblisters, they are white) in my mouth.

could it be a form of gum desease?

i have not been to a dentist in a veeeeeeeeeeery long time.

could you please advise me what to do A.S.A.P? as i am scared this could create a huge problem.

it is most likely gum disease. you will need a comprehensive check up at your dentist to determine the way forward
