Q.

Grinding teeth

Hello Doc,

My daughter who is 4 has started Grinding teeth SO BAD each night it wakes me that I have to wake her to stop, I did it so bad for years and I think still do - that I have worn retainers for most of my life as well as had a never removed from my front tooth due to the pain... I believe my father had teh same thing.

What can I do to help my daughter?

The best preventive measure which helps reduce the chance of grinding is to ensure she is very relaxed before sleeping.
other than that there is unfortunately not much to do for this condition
