Q.

Gingivitis

What can I use for gingivitis? the dentist says there is not much I can do. Will the gum grow back towards my teeth as it resided a bit and there is a slight gap between the teeth?

The gums are red and swollen somewhat, but it bothers me that there is a gap now.

The gum will not grow back to normal. You can prevent it from receeding further by having a professional cleaning every 6mnths or if it is very bad, every 3 months.
You can also use Andolex C mouthwash, but for no longer than 2weeks.
