Q.

Frequency of check-ups

I have no dental problems, brush and floss 2x per day and visit an oral hygienist every 4 months. Is it still really necessary to go for a check-up with one''s dentist every 6 months? One visits other health care practitioners either when something is wrong or for an annual check-up.
