fluroses of teeth 5yr old

My 5yr old has bad fluroses of his teeth. He has had dental surgery to fill his teeth. His teeth are all open and broken to the gums leaving sensitive areas open . He is prone to gum abcesses as well.I know it' s difficult to say but, do you think his permanent teeth will also be damaged. Th dr. does not want to remove the milk teeth yet.

The permanent teeth may not necessarily be damaged- ifyou are staying in an area with a higher concentration of fluoride in the water (eg North West province) then the chances are greater.
If your son has abscesses and the teeth are broken, the baby teeth need to be removed URGENTLY!
