Extraction-All teeth at age 30

Hi There,
I have bad teeth, and one of my front teeth just broke as well. Last year my thyroid bombed out, and I was put on medication before for 6 months before I started Iodine treatment. As a result from the medication I got hit with infections on basically all my top row teeth. That was the beginning of the end for me. I have consulted with a dentist now, who wants to extract all my top row teeth, and give me dentures. I am 30 years old. He says because the other teeth are also not too great, this is really the only option. Is this really all that I can do?

without having examined you or seen your x-rays it is very difficult ot say whether this is the only option. have a second opinion at another dentist.
