Q.

Early Orthodontics

Any advice on early orthodontics? My children 10 &  8 are begining orthodontic treatment this week. It all sounds obvious that this should happen before or whilst teeth are still coming out. So many people are shocked at such early treatment. Is this because they are not informed or up to date on new trends and developments or is there something else i should know? I have not found anything in the internet to change my decision on this, all articles are in favour of early treatment and positive.

Yes there is nothing wrong with early treatment.
If your orthodontist feels it is necessary now not starting now will lead to possible longer &/or more extensive treatment later
