Q.

dentist x-rays dangerous?

Hi,
i' ve been to the dentist many times from the time i was a child - at least 2x -4x per year for cavities, etc.. I' ve always had x-rays done each time. Im currently 23 years old. Over the years would a lot of damage be caused or would my susceptibility of oral cancer be increased? What are the signs of oral cancer, early and late stage. Please let me know asap. I' m very worried. Thanks.

Dental x-rays are very low dosage and so few xrays over many years should not be a cause of concern.
There are different types of oral cancer and many different appearances.
