Q.

Dental procedure

My LO (3.5yrs) had a dental procedure two days ago, she extracted 6 top teeth.The doctor prescibed her flourine tablets(forgot the name),she said she shoud take them until she is 10yrs.What exactly do this tablets do?Will removing the her speech affect her speech?Thanks

Fluoride tablets are somtimes given to supplement fluoride intake in children who need it.
Fluoride strengthens the teeth however in my opinion they are not necessary as our water in SA is adequately fluoridated
