Q.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

I was advised that I would need implants. However, bone and artificial bone first needs to be implanted before implants can be done. I have asked the specialist a few questions but would appreciate your reply on the following.
(i) How long will I have to stay home after surgery?
(ii) I' m rather allergic to medication - is it very painful?
(iii) I bruise quickly - will this be the case one again?
(iv) Will I have to stay in hospital overnight?
(v) Cost implications for 1 tooth?
Your feedback would be appreciated.

i) only you rsurgeon will be able to tell you this as I am unaware of the extent of the surgery

2) yes, there will be some pain, again the severity of the pain will depend on the extent of the surgery

3) most likely

4) yes

5) Sorry only your surgeon can help you with this one- there are many different types of implants systems one can use -all with different costs implications
