Dental implant - expensive?

Hi there, I have a bit of a strange problem! I' m 25 years old, and I have 1 milk tooth - but no permanent tooth for it, so I' ve been struggling with it! The dentist I went to told me that I must go for a dental implant soon, and I think that I have to go for it within the next month or so, as it' s starting to irritate me a lot! Just a question: is it very expensive? I' m with Telemed Bronze, and I' m aware that they only cover the basic dentistry...

Implant costs vary greatly depending on the type of implat used.

I went to the dentist, and found out that it' s very, very expensive! She advised me that I should hold on to the baby tooth for as long as possible / until I can afford it or have a better medical aid option that will cover it. My current medical aid only pays about 30% of the costs, which is almost nothing...

Thanks, I appreciate the advice!
