Dental Abscess

Hi doc,

I had a very bad dental abscess and my face swelled up really badly, the dr put me on Rocephin (excuse spelling) and put me on a drip to try and help.
That didnt help, infact i swelled up much more. my eye started bruising underneath.

I started on Flagyl, I have completed the course today The swelling has gone down, but my gum near the tooth, is extremely swollen still, and blue in places... it looks like a bit of blood underneath the skin... Its very uncomfortable.

The dentist is only seeing me on Tues next week, do i need more antibiotics? or must i go in to the theatre to have this drained? or must i wait to see if it will still clear up before my appointment?????

Pls help
