Q.

Damaged permanent teeth?

Hi

My son is seven years old. He cut his permanent bottom two teeth a year ago. When the first one appeared there was a distinctive yellow line on the top part. Over time the bottom also turned to this yellow color. Two both bottom teeth have this yellow crusty layer on the bottom and at the back of the tooth. It has a rough feeling too. I now noticed that his latest permanent tooth ( at the bottom too) is slightly showing and already has this yellow spot on it. I am very worried about his teeth and anxious that his top two teeth would also be affected. What is wrong with his teeth? What can we do?

Thanks

It could be fluorosis.
See your dentist to confirm if it is indeed so.
