Q.

Braces &  Root Canal

Hi Doc,
Since i have had my braces i am forever at the dentist, fillings, even root canals, i was told i do not brush properly, this is NOT the case, i am forever brushing and permanently flossing, is it maybe cause my teeth are maybe a bit more sensitive?
I cant keep living at the dentist every week with aches and pains, i can live with the orthodontic pains.
I am 31.

Hi Jane
Unfortunately without having examined you it is difficult to know whether you are brushing correctly or not. Remeber you may be brushing regulalry but not CORRECTLY.
if you have braces you cannot leave the decayed teeth untreated. This will cause theorthodontic treatment to be unscuccessful in most cases.
