Q.

BRACES?

Hi Doc

I am 37 years old and would like to know would I beable to have braces to straigthen my teeth. I had a gum guard many years ago, when I was younger, but only for my top teeth. Would braces help to straigthen my teeth at my age? I asked my dentist, about this, but said medical aid doesn''t cover this type of dental. Why not, if I may ask, and what is the cost (if you know) to have braces?

yes, braces will definitely help. I have no idea why this treatment is not covered by your medical aid- it is best to ask them.
