Q.

braces

Hi Doc ... I`m a 24 year old woman. I went to my dentist recently and was told that i would need braces. I am very self-concious and i do not know if i could live with the fact of having braces in my mouth. I want to know if there is any substitute to braces?

usually not. it depends on how severe the problem is. Braces are in most cases, however, the best option

Hi Landi, I am 29 and have had braces for over a year now. It is not comfortable, but you get used to it. If you need them, id say do it, rather now than later. you also get the see -through ones, so they are not that noticable.
