Q.

Black vs white fillings

Hello,

I have a black filling I got 10 years ago that my dentist wants to replace with a white filling. I know these things don''t last forever, but the tooth is still okay. Should I do the filling anyway or wait a few more years? Of course, white fillings look much better but I''m also scared that they might be less resistent. Will I still be able to chew nuts and other hard foods?

Thank you so much,

Patricia

IF the filling is ok, I wouldn't replace it.
