I went to the dentist and was informed that i have a gap between root and gums. So there goes bacteria in and it does not taste well. Was informed that it cant be fixed. Is that true or is there in fact something I can do?

if the gum disease has progressed very extensivley you will lose the tooth.
treatment for this condition can be done but will depend on the severity of the condition.
