Q.

Baby teeth development - Dummy use

My baby is 8mths old and is getting his third tooth. He does not suck on the dummy all the time, I give him his dummy just before he goes to sleep and also sometimes when he is just fussy. He uses the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Soft Soother. Will the use of the dummy have a negative impact on the development of his teeth? When do you recommend babies be weaned off the dummy?

I advise parents not to use the pacifier at all.
The sooner you wean him off it the better.
