Q.

apicestomy

Hi, my medical aid is a total rip off. I need to have an apicestomy done, but my medical aid refuses to pay for the procedure to be done in hospital. My periodontist wants to do it in his rooms. Is it safe to so so, and will i feel any pain. I am scared.

if properly anaesthetised you shuold not feel pain. Choosing whether to do it in his rooms can only be assessed after loking at your medical history, complications and ease of procedure etc. If he has advised you to do it in the rooms, it should be fine
