Q.

apesictomy

hi, i had an apesictomy done in Jan 2012. It seemed to heel properly and i experienced very little paid post op. In april 2012, i noticed a little pimple forming near the area where the procedure was done. I went back to the maxo-facial who drained it but within a week it came back. It does not pain but with one''s mouth being so sensitive, the feeling of it bothers me sometimes.
Post xray reveals the infected area looks better than before.

Please advise on your thoughts.

The pimple you feel is an abscess and should not be recurring.
Discuss this with your surgeon- an extraction MAY be needed.

what if the surgeon does another apesictomy? Will it have a better chance of saving the tooth?
