Q.

Anti Biotics

Hi

I recently had some severe tooth ache. Went to dentist and he put in a temp filling (wasn''t enough area for the filling to stick???)
The pain went away from the next day, but returned after about 7 days.
Had to see another dentist as mine was fully booked for some time. He put me on anti biotics and the pain vanished. As soon as I completed/finished the course of A.B the pain is back.
What could this mean?

Regards

What was the diagnosis? If the tooth was extensively damaged a temp filling is just that- a temporary measure, a root canl would then need to be done.
