Q.

8 year old''s new front teeth

Hi doc, my eight year old daughter has lost her front teeth and her new teeth are now busy erupting. I have now noticed that there are a whitish spot on each of the new teeth? Is this normal or must I take her to the dentist? She has sucked her thumb since she was a baby and stopped just before she started loosing her baby teeth. The new teeth are not skew at all and are perfectly in place. Please advice.

take her to a dentist-although not "normal" it is very common in most cases.
