Q.

7 yr old''s teeth

hi Doc

My 7.5 yr old''s two front big teeth have come in at a bit of an angle, partly pointing inwards. Do they straighten as they grow further? I remember having teeth going in every direction as a kid but my teeth are beautiful now. Must I consider braces for her? Do big teeth usually come in straight - or not?

thanks

sometimes they straighten but often, they require orthodontic treatment.
whether a tooth develops in line depends on many factors.
Sometimes interceptive ortohdontic work can be done at this stage. first see your dentist who may then refer you to an orthodontist.
