4 yr old wont brush teeth

Hi Doc

My 4yr old refuses to brush her teeth. She plays with her toothbrush, refuses to put toothpaste on it, and when she does brush its only with water. She has already had three fillings, and it is always a screaming match in the morning.
I have tried everything, fancy toothbrushes, different toothpastes, brushing together, everything.

I am very worried, as i have perfect teeth (brag), and would hate for this to become worse than it already is.

Please help

Firstly, try brushing teeth in the bath at bath time. Parents and kids are too tired later on. I got both kids LOVING the following entertainment. (2 and 4 years). I use a face cloth over my hand holding the toothbrush and have a silly name for this puppet. He dances on the side of the bath, taps their cheek and sings fun songs whilst he brushes their teeth. Ok, it can get exhausting, but its worked for us and you are desperate! Also putting brushing teeth on the reward chart does wonders. She gets a little surprise at the end of the week!
Good Luck!
