Q.

3yr extra tooth

Dear Doc

I have noticed recently that an " extra tooth"  is forming on my 3yr son''s lower gum. He has his baby teeth and this is forming in front of his incisors. Please advice.

Thank you.

Sometimes the baby tooth does not fall out and the permanent tooth erupts. The baby tooth will need to be removed -not necessarily now. See your dentist.
