Q.

3 year old that grinds her teeth

My 3 1/2 year old daughter grinds her teeth in her sleep. Is this normal? Please advise what is causing this?

it is a veryy common problem
There is not much one can do at this age to prevent grinding except ensure that the child is not anxious before sleeping . A glass of warm milk before sleeping has helped some patients.
I have recently come across an artice which suggests there may be a connection between childhood grinding and a magnesium deficiency but I have not seen enough evidence to back up this claim
