Q.

2 yr old with red gums

My 2 yr old went to gp last week with throat infection. Was given antibiotics, dimetapp and lotem. I' ve noticed her gums are bright bright pink, almost red...looks like when u eat red jelly.
What can it be ? Is due to throat infection ?

Thanks
