Q.

11 month old, 2 bottom incissors are fused

My Son is 11 months old he has 6 / 7 teeth.

I have a concern with his bottom incissor the tooth has come through but it looks like 2 teeth that are joined looks like 1 big tooth looks like there is a slight slight prob 0.5mm split.

Is this normal will the tooth still split or is this a permanent problem?

thank you

Fusion of teeth is a fairly rare occurence (0,5-2,5%) in baby teeth.
IF the teeth are fused they will not split later.
the good news is that this does not necessarily mean the permanent teeth will be fused too.
