Q.

Zyrtec

Good day,
My daughter is 6months old. She has a blocked nose. I use
Sterimar and give her 1.5ml Zyrtec at night. How long should
I give the Zyrtec? As soon as I stop it het nose gets blocked again. I think she is as allergic as I am. (I had asma as a child, was allergic to wheat, grass etc.)
Is the dosage of Zyrtec correct and for how long can I give it to
her? I also give her 5drops of Reuteri every second day.
Thank you.
Amelia

Zyrtec is a very safe antihistamine with virtually no side effects in children. The correct dose for your baby is 1.5ml at night. As she definitely seems to be allergic you will need to use Zyrtec for several months. You should also keep her nose clear with Salex nose drops twice a day.
