X-ray on toddler

My 18 month old girl has had about three x-rays since birth. She is petite and was diagnosed to have TB last year around June. She was on treatment and has completed. I now have to take her for x-ray " again" .

I' m concerned that her going to x-rays might affect her in a long run. The last time i went in with her, the person that does x-ray told me x-rays compromised the reproductive organs. Is this true?

Your daughter has had chest X rays done and these should not affect her reproductive organs. Having said this she has had three chest Xrays to date and I would not like her to have another Xray done at this stage. The doctor or nurse can simply do a TB skin test to see if this has become smaller in size than previously.
