worried mom

hi, i wonder if you can help or give me some advise. my daughter is 9yrs old. she is adhd and on ritalin. from a very early age of 4 and a half it was established that she appeared to have a bladder control problem. we have been to a neurologist, urologist and pead. who have done extensive tests on her. she keeps getting bladder infectins and gets anti biotics. have you got advise for me as i am desperate to find out what can be done to resolve this issue. i feel like i am going around in circles. told she would grow out of it, but she is turning ten this year.
Please advise

You are perfectly correct to be concerned about your daughter of 10 who still does not have bladder control. You have already seen a urologist and a paediatrician without any benefit. She really needs to be seen by a paediatric urologist or by a paediatrician with experience in renal paediatrics. These experts are usually attached to the paediatric departments of the main teaching hospitals. You are welcome to write in again and tell me in which area you live and I will try to recommend the best unit for her to attned.
