Worried Mom

Hi doc, I have a serious problem anyway i don' t know if it is serious. For the past months my daughter has been coughing a lot, like when she cough she doesn' t take that mucus out she swallowed it but sometimes she throw it away. So i' m asking if there can be something wrong with her because i took her to the doctor even buying some recommended medicines from other people that adviced me that she will get cured but even now she is still coughing. She is 3 yrs and 9 months old. Please any advice will be appreciated.

I am not sure what the problem is here from your description of your daughter's problem. The most likely cause is probably asthma as may children start off with this kind of cough when they first develop this condition. It would be best to take your daughter to see a paediatrician.
